Ownership

CoStar Group — an S&P 500 and NASDAQ 100 company that operates 28 property portals globally — acquired OnTheMarket in a deal worth around £100 million, completed in 2023. CoStar described the acquisition as an efficient entry point into the UK’s residential property market, backed by a multi-year, hundreds-of-millions-of-pounds investment programme to grow the portal’s consumer traffic.
